HELP: Custom ringtones don't ring!!!

On my friend's spv the custom ringtones don't work! I set them right as I do on my spv and on mine they work, on my friends they don't and the ring is the default one!!

There aren't duplicate contacts, the waves are in the correct folder (as I can see them when choosing the tone) and the play fine.

Any clue?

I also have a similar problem. I have set the custom tones but sometimes they just ring through as the default tone. The number displays the same either way and there doesn't seem to be a reason for it. My girlfriend called me three times, one after the other to test it but I got the custom ring the first time and the default the other two.

It just seems to be what the phone feels like playing. Sometimes I get the custom ring sometimes just the default. Makes the custom ringtone's a bit pointless though if they don't work all the time.
