when i get a text, only the number comes up, i can't seen to get a name, I then found a program called outlook contact remover. when I tries to put in on my sd card it said I wasn't authorised 9or something like that, it wouldn't let me do it) However it did put +44 in front of all my contacts.

Is outlook contact remover supposed to put the sms pre-fix in front of the mobile details , or just the sms details. the program also put +44 in front of all the land line numbers.

Please help me please

I dunno anything about the outlookcontact remover - but there are alot of posts here relative to your query. Do a search or 2 and you'll come up with something!

The numbers do have to be in the sms format to see names from your contact list. I had to change all mine to see names of incoming calls too.

Outlook contact reformatter?

Run it on your PC :)

The contact reformatter changes your numbers to have the international number

(for the UK) to +44 so instead of 0845 it removes the 0 so it would be +44845

Also the reformatter runs on the PC not the phone, so you run the app and

then use activsync to update the phone.

just one more thing, (i'm a real spaz with this sort of stuff) why did it put a +44 prefix on all my fecking land line numbers, or is it supposed to do that.

It's supposed to do that, it reformats all your numbers.

Does not matter and you will not notice any difference when

dialing out.
