HELP!! new user needs mmc card advice

Hi all,

Have just replaced my 7650 with a SPV phone, its got 2 32meg cards with it.

My question is, can i fit a 256 card into it? are MMC and sd cards the same thing? has anyone got any links to cheap cards online?

Whats the best games/apps?

The SPV will take 256 MMC and SD cards, the main diffrence being that the SD cards are slightly faster when processing pictures (i think, correct me if im wrong). If you goto www.bornsloppy.co.uk there are many links in which you can find sites to order SD and MMC cards from.

Looking at Apps and Games try monolithix site (im presuming you have decerted your phone), it has everything you will need. Doom is a must really tho if you are looking to show off :) , then theres smart explorer and task manager which should make managing programs easier. Anything else is your preference, just try different things and see if you like them

You can fit 256MB cards in and bigger ( I'm waiting for the 1GB

to become main stream.) :evil:

As above SD card are 4x faster than MMC and more stable but you would

not really notice the speed difference though.

Best place for price to get SD cards from is Ebay, but keep away from Scandisk

there have been more reported problems with that make than any other :?
