Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 I like the fact you can pre-order but then they don't give you a price :?
Guest caio1 Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 Is it true that it won't be compatible with smartphone2002 apps/games? Caio
Guest madu Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 @ciao: There were rumors that is is either a different os to MS SP or that it had been customised specifically for Neonode
Guest vijay555 Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 it says that it runs a custom shell, but I presume it's SM2002 underneath... V
Guest Playdoh Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 it's CE underneath but not Smartphone UI. I suspect Smartphone apps will not run on it's immediately as no doubt the underlying file structure/registry will be different guess we'll soon find out though!
Guest Chris b.a.r.f. Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 It's running Win CE.NET, and despite the fact that SP2002 & WinCE share the same base, the N1's going to end up being something like a feature-denuded PPC/phone. Wonder if it'll be a success? Price will mean *everything* in this case; my daughter really wants one, but she can forget it if it's going to cost 2000 DKK or higher....
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 It's so small !!! That touch screen is damn cool - will have to warn my m8s to keep they're grubby hands of it !! Does anyone know how big it is in comparison to the SPV's (hopefully bigger) ?? Cheers SpaceCowboy
Guest Brody Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Nice looking phone but i'm not sure how long that screen'd last b4 it got scratched, grubby etc! (I wonder if it'll have a dust problem  )
Guest Geniarse Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 That has got to be the biggest load of bull I have ever come across!!! No specs, no price, no information!! Has anyone actually got any REAL facts or information regarding this toy? Mores the point has ANYONE ever seen it in the flesh? I think I can safely say NO to the above questions....

Have to agree - the website lacks easy access info. it should be presented in a simple layout - however they've gone all "flash" and complicated on us !!! I would LOVE it if somehow/time the SP apps ran on it !!! (n e 1 know its processor speed?)
