Small tool for graphics editing? Please advise..

..is there a small (preferably very small & simple) graphics tool that would do just fine for a bit of editing? I am at work and Adobe is definitely not an option (oh, I still have W95 here).

What I need is:

- Simple set of tools

- Ability to see position/area selected (pixels)

- Basically a tool for porting skins... ie just some alternations.

Any suggestions before I set off to browse through tucows.com?

Probably overkill but there's lways Paint Shop Pro.

Personally I use Corel Draw for graphics work (Technical drawings as I have NO artistic talent whatsoever! :) ).

For standard raster/bitmap work (Read JPG) PSP has loads of tools and best of all its cheap! Hell, you can even play with it for 60 days before it locks up (Well, 30 with small annoying freeware message, another 30 with a delayed annoying message). Mind you, its quite a hefty download...
