Dial up via PC

This might sound like a strange and pointless question but is there any way for the spv to be connected via the cradle to a pc in order to use data on spv at faster speeds?

Old versions did it too, just a matter of setting the phone up to 'pass through connection'...

Gave up on the pass through connection some time ago.

There was just no way i could get the bloody thing to work.

Asked pretty much everybody here and orange never bothered to call me back, so i guess i'll have to live my life without it.

Speedy sorry I don't remember when you posted your problems, but

It's strange as pass through worked with ME fine but I have not tested it with

XP Home yet but I would be surprised if it did not work.

Pass through works fine, u need the rules set to connect to the internet and the phone set to pass through connection.

Yep i tried all that,

My guess is that i am behind a firewall and router in the apartment where i live, which block the pass through connection somehow. We are about four people sharing high speed internet.

What i dont get though is that i spoke to a guy from o and he tried it while we spoke and his worked fine. And when you think about it they must have firewalls and routers a o headquarters where he was connnecting from. dont you think?

I use passthrough fine on WinXP Pro with those settings on my phone, also ensure you have "Pass through connection" checked in your Activesync settings.

Oh yeah, its nothing to do with that, i have larger setup than that (PC > Switch > SwitcH > win2k router > adsl modem router hehe)

Then i dont get it.

And i dont have to change any settings on my spv other than to the "pass through" or "automatic" i dial up (have tried both)

And on laptop in i ASync --> rules --> pass through = The Internet.

Whats the deal, could it be a fault on my spv?

Yes i tried that mono,

still does not work. I dont know what i am doing wrong.

Still says "the page you are looking for was not found"

I am in DK so i did not have the "orange csd wap" but "wap csd" and neither "orange wap" but "wap gprs" under gprs connections. Isn't it the same.

What to do now?
