Guest JonStatt Posted November 23, 2002 Report Posted November 23, 2002 Although my Nokia phones can read full signal strength in my home, and so can my Ericsson, the SPV only ever reads 2 out of its 4 bars. I have noticed even as I move outside, I cannot get it to read above 2. Reception in call quality seems fine so I wonder if its over pesamistic on signal strength? If you use MSN messenger and receive a phone call which you answer, after termination of the call, the messenger seems to be disconnected even though the G sign returns. It seems this phone can't do call handling and GPRS at the same time, and even worse handles the resuming badly. Regards, Jonathan
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 Has anyone found a way to enable / view SMS delivery reports on the SPV? P
Guest JonStatt Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 When you are typing in the SMS, press the menu button and select options. You can then make a tick in a box for delivery reports. You can't switch it on for all SMS's unfortunately, so you will need to do this with each text you want a report for. Regards, Jonathan
Guest MPJ Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 Does adding RCT at the start of the SMS create a delivery report? Might be quicker than using the menu for every message
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 24, 2002 Report Posted November 24, 2002 It does indeed. Hassle tho :-) Wonder if the menu not showing is due to the Orange SIM? (As on the T68?) P
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Just about to order a N70 for my father in law, so will watch out for that one when it arrives! :) Talking of N70s... is there a SIM unlock solution yet? P
