Guest Arisme Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 Not many improvements for Smartphone, sorry  just more games and Ogg Vorbis support to enjoy audio tracks on a small memory card ... but as it's an official release I guess it's worth posting  download it at http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/scummvm...02.zip?download some screenshots http://arisme.free.fr/PocketScumm/shots/Smartphone/ ScummVM site http://www.scummvm.org More information on PocketMatrix http://forums.pocketmatrix.com/viewtopic.php?t=11102
Guest Gorskar Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 Excellent! ...and it supports curse of monkey Island?? I've got that on 2 CDs - wonder if that can be shrunk to fit on the phone...
Guest Arisme Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 mmh no :) COMI only works (sometimes) with Pocket PCs/Handheld PCs for the moment (I might try on a Smartphone one day, when I'll have a bigger SD card, but it'll probably be too slow ...)
Guest shimmip Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 OK, I've had a look though the posts and the walkthrough and I've not seen anything about this issue. I have the bounty pack version of Monkey Island 2 which didn't have the spinny copy protection thing that came with the original (I remember it on the Amiga version before I was converted to the true path). I assumed the copy protection was taken out of the code but it looks as though the bounty pack launcher just circumvents it because when I try and launch on Smartphone I get asked for the copy protection ingredients. Has anyone else encountered this issue? And does anyone know a way around it? And please no flames for warez chat - I own 2 legit versions of the game (pc bounty pack and amiga original) and probably have my original version of the spinny thing sat in my parents attic somewhere - just don't much fancy my chances of finding it....
Guest Arisme Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 it should accept any value ... otherwise, it's a bug
Guest shimmip Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Ahem, yes, everything seems to be in order. Just testing....
Guest cyclops Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Could you put an option in there to keep the backlight on?
