Dead battery?? And O Care question...

Hi,

After reviving my phone following last weeks problems (see this post), I am now only getting between 4 and 8 hours battery life, dependant on usage, and the phone is still crashing more than usual for no apparent reason. While this normally would mean a dead battery, it seems strange that it only started happening when the phone died, before then I got the normal 2 days (ish) battery life. I have tried many a hard reset (as mentioned in the other post) and have also re-applied the latest UK update to try and resolve the problem.

My powers of deduction point me to the following possible problems:

1 - The original phone fault was caused by a hardware problem which is still affecting the battery life.

2 - The original problem somehow killed my battery, and I just need to replace it.

3 - The battery just died!!

Any thoughts would be appreciated!! :)

BTW - I am STILL WAITING for O Tech Support to get back to me re a replacement handset after reporting my original problem last Friday morning    (I didn't cancel the fault cos my phone is still not 100%)

PS - When I finally get it, will my replacement phone come with a new battery, or will I have to keep the old one? If I have to keep it and it turns out that it has died will O replace it due to the fact that it was (probably) the phone that killed it?

Sorry for the mammoth post :(

When you exchange your phone it is just that nothing else no battery etc, so the

best thing to do is ask for a replacement battery as well to play it safe.
