Guest sherwinsm Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 ei im new here though ive been using my smrtphone for quite some time now...and beginning to like it more now for im discovering something new everytime. i like everything about the except for one thing.the camera, dont get me wrong, i mean the pic quality of the camera is really good for a camera phone but isnt kinda slow compared to 3650 or 7650? u can barely record a video with that... well, anyway..i love my phone.. 8)
Guest ppcsurfr Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 @sherwinsm: Well, the camera isn't really the only reason we have the Smartphone... it's the whole package, right? :) Anyway, enjoy your Smartphone... :( Mabuhay ~ Carlo (ppcsurfr)
Guest dinoalbert Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 the camera isnt really the first thing I like with the Smartphone...I seldom use it...its quality is just good for an everyday point-and-shoot, for quick shots needed to attach to an immediate email. I still opt to use a real digital camera if I want to get good pictures and videos clips. Those Nokia cameras are built-in, probably the reason why its a bit better. Lets try to compare the picture quality of those Nokia with that of a Smartphone with built-in camera...probably in the near future Im sure there will be one :)
Guest vctor Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 yeah hindi masyadong importante ang camera with this kind of phone...
Guest jbyte Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Well, still hoping for the best! :) cheers, guys! :( :D
Guest jbyte Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 The sad thing about the video file (avi) produced by the SAP is that it will not play on the PC using WMP. I also tried VirtualDub but gives me an error message saying that "The file has an invalid format or format is invalid". Anyone who have played it on their pc? I am trying to reencode it so that it can be played using PocketMVP or PocketTV but still I can't find my luck. :x
Guest grifter Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 i've transferred videos created on my SAP to my pc and i was able to play them. btw, i'm using WMP9 on my pc running xp. try installing WMP9
Guest jbyte Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Thanks for the info, m8. :) Probably its time for me to upgrade to XP. I'm current using Win98se.
Guest vctor Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 yup ako din i can play movies recorded sa phone ko :)
Guest e v i l _ f i s h Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 does this mean we can't do anything to improve it? :?:
Guest jologs Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 well atleast we have a very clear sound playing mp3's... this is 1 of the main reason why i love this phone... for me it's an "MP3 PHONE" nat a camera phone...
Guest ecorche Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 its not moving in my sap if i record video. the longest ever is 30 seconds, after that it hangs
Guest BrAGoL Posted September 20, 2003 Report Posted September 20, 2003 @grifter i'm only using WMP8 on my XP... the default media player installed.. and it plays there... @jbyte you need not to migrate to XP... just upgrade to WMP8 or WMP9 (this is the one available on microsoft)...
