I think my warranty is gone because its unlocked Is there someone who have the same problem as me?
Guest Chris b.a.r.f. Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 The whole subject of warranty/unlocking is a moot point, and I'm in the middle of checking out exactly where we stand in various countries. I'll be posting an article once I've finished researching it. In the mean time, you should be able to resolve your "freeze" problem by (re)installing the latest SPV update - the whole ROM will be rewritten in the process, so everything should be back totally to normal.
Guest 4375_1437906633 Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 :? oke thanks for your answer,than I have a problem..... I do'n't have GPRS so i can't get the updates. I can't go online
Guest Chris b.a.r.f. Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 You don't download ROM updates via GPRS (yet), you must instead download the update to your PC and install from there: UK Update: www.orange-today.co.uk/spv/ DK update: www.orange.dk/spv Not sure where to get the latest NL update.
Guest Machineman Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 On the dutch Orange site is no update availebe. You have to download it from the english site I did the same. The only problem is that it not always works becouse of the diffrerence between the language (I think) it cost me several times to do that. Hope you suceed. Groetjes Machineman

Groetjes Machineman so than you have no dutch menu now(heb je nu een engels menu?en geen nederlands?)Is there something else I can do to stop that freeze all the time  I can't trust my spv now.....because when its freeze my alarm doesn't work eighter  (ben er ziek van)I'am sick of it :)
True enough - though it's not so much that that's the issue really, more that by pressing [Accept] you're telling Orange that if your phone gets shagged¤lindå¤ get a massive GPRS bill/whatever because you installed a dodgy app then you accept that you're on your own. It's been discussed a million times here of course, but de-certing turns the SPV into something very much better than it is out-of.the-box. omdat mijn naam er staat neem ik aan dat het over mijn spv gaat?
Guest Machineman Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 van welke topic heb je dit dan kan ik ff kijken
