Unknown username?

Whats the latest with this service, is it still down, when i try and send a message i get `unknown username`. Does anyone know what this means?

The app is not working, please go to www.planus.net/spv and use the online version for the time being.

its not the app! i tried to put my user name into the app and i got that msg, but when i tried to put it into the web version i got user name invalid! my user is arunhallan

I have been getting the "You must supply a username" message for over a week now. I have made no changes to the application on my SPV, which had been working fine. Also, I can login fine on the web service using the same "login data" I use on the SPV application.

Is the app still not working? If so, when will this service resume?

Hi mate, app works great, just one question is the sender id restricted to 8 characters?

we do not restrict the sender id, but recipient networks do. however their restrictions are usually at either 11 or 16 characters (might be different for alphanumeric).

In response to Asif: I was not aware of a new version being out. Searched on this Forum and found it, and everything working fine now.

Perhaps such updates could be put in your downloads section on your website too? What a smart alec I am!

We want to wait until we have the final version before putting it on our site. This way we keep the userbase narrow on the modaco site.
