A quick word of advise, your www.iastyle.com link doesn't work as you have included a full stop after the .com section! (it reads .com./)

To be honest, the app seems fine but the animated templates are totally naff.

IYHO they may be totally naff, although I think that's being a bit harsh to IA Style. IMHO I think they're alright - a bit of fun. They put a smile on my face when someone rings in. Keep 'em coming :)

Can IA caller ID show an unknown picture...for callers whom you got no picture....just like Smartface?

thanks...

Where can we (IA Style) find some talented GIF Animation file designer who can contribute to the community the high quality Caller ID templates? We are planning to publish a mechanism to convert the GIF animation the user designed to the animated PIT template file used by IA Caller ID. May be some one willing to host additional profit/non-profit Home pages to allow downloading more non-naff Caller ID templates.

We will keep posting new templates at:

http://www.iastyle.com/iacallerid/templates.asp

Any suggestion and pointer are most welcome.

another question: can we create our own personalized image for the Not Assigned, Unknown, and Witheld numbers....instead of the IA default ones?

thanks again...

Yes, you can design and assign your preferred Caller ID photos for Default (Not Assigned), Unknown and Not-Found incoming calls. The command for assigning these photos are Options > Set Default Photos.

The default photos can be designed in JPEG, BMP, still GIF, animated GIF file format or any of the above image file compose with a designated PIT template file.

When you design these photos, please aware that the background color of the incoming call screen will be changed base on the current assigned theme.

The latest IA Caller ID beta is Beta-4, V0.99 (Build: 12565):

IA Style has just released our latest Smartphone application – IA Caller ID V1.0.

IA Caller ID lets you assign pictures to individual or Group entries in your Contacts. When someone calls, his or her photo will appear on your Smartphone screen. And when you browse your contacts, you will see pictures in addition to names and telephone information.

IA Caller ID is the perfect addition to a Smartphone with an attached camera. Take a picture of your friends, family, or business associates, and then add their picture to your contacts list.

Download a 15-day trial version or learn more at: http://www.iastyle.com/smartphone/ia_calle...er_id/index.asp

Enjoy the software!

Why is it that IA Caller ID works only on my contacts stored in my Simcard only but not those stored on my phone memory?

I got a contact whos number is stored in the phone and I assigned a picture for her but when she calls, her picture does not appear. What appears is the Default photo only. I already checked "Display pic when during incoming or waiting calls".

BUT when I copied her number to my simcard, then assigned the picture to her, thats the time when her picture appears when she calls.
