DOH!

DOH!

DOH!

DOH!

First i missed the GPRS Pack.

Now i have been out earlier this week to get an SPV - only to meet with large crowds in the Orange Shops in Birmingham (waited for ages and no assistant was available) and the shops in Milton Keynes being out of stock!

Went back today and..... shop was empty! Checked the price on the wall... back to £30!!! Damn. Went to another shop and blagged the chappie there who said it was free.. sat down... he then said - oh no - my mistake - they are £30 now.

Damn. Nearly had him.

So... do i pay the £30 - bearing in mind that is (aprox) half the cost of my 256mb memory card... or just wait for the next offer to come out?

£30 is still a bargin, given the average price that most people paid (round about £100 I think, there was a poll about it a while ago).

It could be worse, I got my phone for £100, then bought a 128 mb SD card for about £60, and weeks later could buy a card twice the size for the same money!

Thats when I added the <smart arse quote> to my sig....

Yes.. true - £30 is not much to pay.

I was just a little Pi**ed off after waiting nearly all my Lunch Hour yesterday while some silly tart decided if she wanted an SPV or a Sony or a Panasonic or a Nokia or a....... :x

Ok. I'll go and get one then i think.

Lets hope Milton Keynes have them back in Stock now. :)

See Taoski - You keep putting it off and putting it off and now you have to pay a measly £30.

I had to pay £99.99, although got a DVD player for £59.99 ( which broke)

hehe - my first one didn't eject but the replacement one works fine. It made an excellent Xmas present for someone :) I presume you know (or knew since yours is broken now) that there was a remote hack to put it into multi region mode :(

Mine hasn't broken, but the DVD tray looks a bit of a dodgy fit in the front panel now! It was cheap at £60 when everyone else sells them at around £100, and I found the remote hack too :) Only thing that really p***es me off about it is that the remote (for some reason unknown to most of humanity) uses rolling codes, which means my universal remote refuses to work with it becuase every other keypress is a different IR code. Grr!

Did a few searches, and couldn't find the multi-region hack - any help?

Buy a CYBERHOME DVD Player - its easy to crack n has all the bells n whistles... Richer Sounds have it in stock most of the time.

btw - The Wakefield store tells me not only do they NOT have any £30 SPV's in stock, but O' dont do em anymore - so my guess is Milton Keynes are just gettin rid of old stock .... the did offer me an E-100 for £150 tho !! - If anyone sees one just grab it fore me, my screen if fuxored to death. Ill pay the postage and some beer money for the trouble ;)

Found the hack, so don't worry.

For anyone interested ...

Open drawer.

Type in 00000

(which sets to region 0 = region free)

00001 for region 1

00002 for region 2 etc
