my phone keeps re-certing its self :evil: 3 time in2 days there is nothing special install recently the keeps crashing and loosing everything

When you decerted did you use Orange's decert webpage to do it?

I think (and someone will correct me if I'm wrong :) ) that "random" re-sets and re-certs happen when the phone boots up and finds that the registry is corrupt, it then reverts to a clean registry.

When your phone re-certs itself does it also seem to loose any programs that you have installed (loosing shortcuts, etc)? If it does then it would seem that your registry keeps getting corrupted, which could also explain the crashes. If not then it could be something else...

Do the crashes happen after using a particular program? Or after doing a particular thing? Can you reproduce the crash? Or is it truely random?

Not much help, I know, but hopefuly a nod in the right direction! :wink:

its totaly random just crashes when idle shortcuts stay in programs , home screen defaults programs wont run

i de-certed it by the the hack way

im not a developer so im not sure about the orange way ?? can i do it that way??

If noone comes up with a genius solution to your problem a hard reset should sort your phone out. Then you can decert the phone through Orange on their website.

To do a hard reset follow steps 7-12 in this thread (make sure you backup things you want to keep):
