Guest Neil Clark Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Hi, When i try and install anything from my pc to my SPV (was trying tennis addict demo) it says on phone at end of install something about pocket tv install not complete Pocket tv was the first install i tried and it didnt work so maybe the cab file is still there and corrupt? Where are cab files located? Any help please!! Neil

Goes through the usual process of installing .CAB files from desktop, but does not complete. Files end up in AppMan folder in a folder called Install!!?? Guest Posted May 30, 2003 Report Posted May 30, 2003 I'm having the same problems installing the latest version of GPRS Traffic Counter. I've tried running the .cab file located in IPSM/Windows/AppMgr/Install, deleting this Install folder and starting again, all to no avail. I've even re-downloaded the software from Handango and performed a hard reset of my phone! Following many hours of reinsatalling all my other software (successfully) and narrowly avoiding throwing my SPV out the window, I am still without my GPRS counter! And with the GPRS promotion coming to an end soon, I want to keep a very close eye on my GPRS usage from now on. I have also emailed All-Locations but unsurprisingly have not received a reply. Could anyone help me out here??
Guest Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 For those of you that have had problems installing All-Locations GPRS Traffic Counter, I reported the problem to [email protected], who kindly emailed me the latest installation file which installed without a problem. All they require is the email address used when purchasing the software in order to vilidate the purchase.
Guest Bonzo Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 I can totally relate to the GPRS Traffic counter problems!!! And if U have the same problem as I have here is why... The download link that Handango supply for this program is actually for the Pocket PC version and not the SmartPhone version... needless to say the Pocket PC version is not compatible and that is why it fails to install correctly!!! I did try mailing Handango about this but here I am four days later with not even a sign of a reply!!!

I had another look at their website and you can download the correct trial version from the Downloads section. There are two version available, one signed, the other not signed.
