Guest HelloDave Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Saw this today and it cracked me up - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/3026109.stm I'm sure it's not a waste of taxpayer's money, I mean instruction manuals are so tricky to understand these days! :) (SPV one excluded of course!) I could understand a course on how to use the SPV, but on how to go through a few menus on a Nokia? It'd be like phoning up OCS! My favourite feedback quote has to be - I THNK ITS A V GUD IDEA-MY MUM CAN NEVR UNDSTND WOT IM ON ABOUT! Peter Barnes, England Funny that... :(
Guest b1uepower Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 arghh i can not stand read/typeing in text message format.. it does my head in  and some of it i can not understand :? .. when some of my friends are talkin to me they type it like its a text message and i keep telling them to speak english :)
Guest siu99spj Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 I remember the same happening earlier to make English spelt 'lyk u speek it'. Thankfully it didn't get very far (Spell Check is a wonderful invention IMHO). Anyway, lets hope the government don't bother, but knowing them they will. It seems as soon as Tony gets an idea into his head he won't let go of it, EVER. Remember the Dome? The firefighters? Or Iraq? Or now even the Euro. We stopped living in a working democracy some time ago peeps.
Guest madu Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Why didn't they just run a course called 'How to read an instruction manual'? Ian, UK Boy, am I glad there are only upto 70,000 SP-powered phones in UK or we'd be seeing MSc Degrees at uni's on using the buggers...
