storage card problem

hi all.

this problem is really bugging me. when i change an sd card on the phone, it doesn't recognise it. for the phone to recognise it i usually need to restart the phone and then everything works.

this makes me think it is a software problem because it works on a restart.

can anyone please help.

can you be more specific? Do you mean you can't read any data from the card (e.g. music) or that programs installed to that card don't appear in your programs list? On the latter issue, I have found going in to Accessories and then back out to the programs list, recaches that list and the icons appear properly (as it reads from the card)

the problem is that when inserting a different sd card into the phone, nothing happens. task manager says "storage card not found". if i take the card out and keep putting it in and out, sometimes it will be recognised.

the weird thing is that if i reboot the phone the card can be accessed straight away.

hope this makes more sense.
