Guest James Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 what is the message you get when it wont send?
Guest wst2208 Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 No message, I click send and nothinf happens. It just stays in the message screen with nothing happening.
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Were you able to send sms before you messed with your contacts!?
Guest matth Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Not sure if this is any help This happens on my phone when it's full i.e.: if i put too large a ringtone on, it will let you compose a message but it won't send. Check what else you've got in the phone memory. cheers. matth
Guest wst2208 Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 yes I have been sending texts until I messed with contacts.
Guest wst2208 Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Thanks matth. I deleted a ring tone off my phone and away goes the texts again. Thanks. Wayne.
Guest wst2208 Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 PS. does that mean I can't have the ring tones I want? I only have a couple and want to set up my phone so I know who is ringing. Or will the SD card I have on order solve this problem? Thanks again. Wayne.
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Yup you can place your ringtones on your SD card, and use a tweak to load the ringtone from your SD card!! Check out midnights pages for the tweak, or search the forum, I can't quite remember the path my heart...
Guest matth Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 They don't have to go on your SD card, you just need to ajust the ringtone frequency in Sound forge or Soundmanager (in XP). i used to have loads of bother with the SMS thing stopping but now i just use 44,100 8 bit stereo and can have 3 17 second ringtones plus, sms notification, system exclamation sounds and so on with no problem at all. You just need to experiment a little. cheers matt.
Guest lonerjam Posted September 26, 2003 Report Posted September 26, 2003 i think i have the same problem with wst220, while he seems to have his prob solved, mine is still there. i have tried hard resets but the problem is still there. my problem is the screen is blank when i tried to read the full message of my sms only the reply and menu box below the screen is visible. i tried to reply but my message will only be sent if i switch off and on my phone. after i see the blank message my phone will usually hang after i tried to press the action button. please help.
