Hi,

I too use use an Airwolf ring tone. Spent ages looking for a version of the tune that was good. In the process I did learn that each series had a slightly different theme and also found techno and dance versions (that just didn't work as ring tones.)

Anyway I wanted something small. Jhew's is good, but very big.

This one is about a third of the size and longer. I played around with quality and settings in sound forge as it doesn't need to be 16 bit stero for the tone. It also has a slightly more subtle start so it doesn't scare you too much!

Saying all that I am now tempted to switch to the Star Wars one posted previously.

Cheers

Marc

This is the beginning of the same sound file that I used, I just chose a bit further on where there's more going on. I know what u mean about the techno ones, they're a bit poo to say the least, and besides they're just, well, not Airwolf, lol.

I choose a higher quality for my ringtones because, like I said in another post, I'm a sad perfectionist geek! And i use my headset alot. Sure this can make them bigger, but it's easier to make them smaller once it's downloaded....gives everyone a better base to work from. As for the lengh, how long does it generally take someone to answer the phone, lol. Well, unless you're ignoring the person on the other end. Thanks for the upload uzcmeg, it's a nice one, and definately d/load the Star Wars tone, it goes really well with the Vader colour scheme/theme that I posted a while back, I'm also thinking about posting a Vader 'breathing' sound file that I use for some notifications etc. Nice one, Cheers!
