help with rar files

could you guys please help me on this one, what the hell do you with rar files. thanxz

If you've got WinRAR installed then CAB files (files that install onto the phone) are displayed as RAR files. Check the file extension of the file in question to see if it's a rar or a cab.

If it's a rar file, open it with WinRAR (an archive program) or if its a cab file then let me know and I'll tell you how to install it if you wish.

its deffinitely not a cab file. and i dont have win rar, do u know where i can get it? basically let me break it down for you i downloaded pocket mvp8r beta wat eva, y'know the 1 with the equalizer function. and it came up as a rar file and i have no idea what to do with it. please fill me in on how to use it

Pocket MVP8 is a cab file. Cab files install onto your phone. This is how you install it:
