Guest Palindrome Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Have a look at Monolithix's freeware site for some games. http://www.monolithix.org/SPV_software.html To buy some games check out: http://www.handango.com/PlatformSoftware.j...X&platformId=11

Guest Gorskar Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Don't forget the new Modaco Software catalogue! (the link is also at the top of the screen) Should have most commercial software listed together with a desciption. If you notice something missing then please let me know! For freeware monolithix's site is the place to start looking.
Guest Neil Clark Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 There dont seem loads of games out there, had a 7650 before (well still got till i sell it) and there was loads of games about, what you lot got installed?? BTW, whats Scummv? Thanks Neil
Guest Gorskar Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Scummvm is an emulator for the scumm engine, so you can play all your old lucasarts adventure games on your spv. (games like sam and max, monkey Island, day of the tentacle etc) You need to copy some files from your original game disks or cds to your spv to get it to work.
Guest titowsky Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 ehm...but how can you really play with gnuboy? It's so slow on my SPV... or what must I do? Thank you
Guest meaks Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 List of games on my phone.. Doom MicroTurismo Motocross Orneta Chess Smartris (tetris clone) Snails (worms clone) Tennis Addict Interstellar Flames Invasion Waterman Turjah, and quite a few demos and other freeware that I dont play that much. Then there is also emulators such as Atari 2600 Gameboy Colour Snes (although not playable) Nes So there is alot of games out there for you! (I've missed a load out too!)
Guest Gorskar Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 There are some sites which only serve up legal roms, see this topic and this topic As for commercial roms, you wont find any help on getting those here as those are not legal (unless you make one yourself from an original cartridge you own, and even then I'm not 100% sure)
Guest James Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 buy links mate! look on www.hexacto.com or buy snails from www.snailsgame.com

Guest Gorskar Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 You can probably buy it back for £5 if you nip down to a computer game shop like HMV. They still sell these old classics.
