Guest Orneta Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 The program is a freeware and can be downloaded here (with setup program for PC) or directly to your smartphone here: http://mobile.orneta.com. Now (in version 0.3) you can also save settings and birth date - so next time you open the application everything is restored.
Guest amo Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 File doesnt appear to be listed on the mobile version
Guest Orneta Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 File doesnt appear to be listed on the mobile version Please make "refresh" of http://mobile.orneta.com and then you will see it listed with possibility to download it directly to your MS Smartphone.
Guest amo Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 ive tried hitting refresh and clearing my cache, still not on there
Guest Orneta Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 ive tried hitting refresh and clearing my cache, still not on there If you go with your PC and Internet browser to: http://mobile.orneta.com then you can clearly see it. So it must be something with caching. Direct link to mobile version of a page where download is possible is also here (just in case you cannot resolve this caching problem).
Guest Orneta Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 What exactly is this for? Biorhythm Theory states that each of us is influenced by three biological cycles, physical, emotional and intellectual, which begin at birth and continue throughout our lives. To compute anybody's biorhythms for any day, all you need is their date of birth plus the correct mathematical calculations.
Guest Coolboy1982 Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Speaking of biological rythms... How about a mentsruation calendar fuction? I know that there is not too many girls using this phone, but in some ways us guys could benefit from that as well ;-)
Guest madu Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 hehe :) Nice one Orneta!! Had that on my PC for years now (not that it had much use), but on my phone..cool!
Guest arunhallan Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 what does the scale represent? yrs? what is the scale?
Guest nickcornaglia Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Has anyone else loaded this program? I know it's free but here are a few problems I had. 1) The exe version did not load on my phone and I cant figure out if it put anything on my pc. I had to get the cab file, put it onto mt SD card and install from there. 2) The install did not create a shortcut in my Start Menu. I had to create it myself. 3) When you enter your birthday...it doesn't remember it. You have to enter it everytime to use it. 4) The settings menu doesnt function correctly. It only lets you check the first checkbox and unable to scroll to the others. Not the most important piece of software in the list, but just as fun as checking my horoscope everyday...and probably just as accurate (or inacurate...depending on the day!). But it would be good if it worked. I am forced to delete.
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Well I'm forced to that this IS a very early version, and they did state that it wasn't quite ready yet! But, as you have stated it would be nifty if it remembered your b-day in future versions! And maybe a lil help file stating what this actually is!?! *inno* As for shortcuts, I installed the cab file, and I'm fairly sure it placed a short cut in my 'Accessories' (spell check) folder in the Start Menu. Looking forward for the next versions...
Guest Orneta Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 But, as you have stated it would be nifty if it remembered your b-day in future versions! And maybe a lil help file stating what this actually is!?! *inno* Yes! These 2 things will be present in next version - due in 3-5 days. Also other problems will be resolved then. And it also installs without problems and makes shortcut -we have tested it in SPV. If somebody has problems with installation then please describe it in more details... BTW: Today is a "R-day" - we are releasing first version of Orneta Reader!
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Orneta Reader Well I'm syked! I think I luff you!

Guest nickcornaglia Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 I was a bit harsh. And I do apologize for saying that the cab didnt install the shortcut in the accessories menu. I didn't expect it to load there. I thought it would load in the main Startmenu. Nick
Guest Orneta Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 I can't look forward to it... any anticipation about formats supported by the reader??? Caio First version will support only text files but with many features that make reading a pleasant activity. More formats will follow in June 2003 and more features will follow yet in May 2003. Here is a teaser picture: Please be patient: first version will be available today evening.
Guest Orneta Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 3) When you enter your birthday...it doesn't remember it. You have to enter it everytime to use it. 4) The settings menu doesnt function correctly. It only lets you check the first checkbox and unable to scroll to the others. Now resolved in version 0.3 !
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 Hmmm is it updated on your website? Cause I keep downloading version 0.2
Guest Orneta Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 Hmmm is it updated on your website? Cause I keep downloading version 0.2 It is at Handango here - I have just tested it if it works, and it works : it downloads version 0.3 ! Maybe your browser is caching old version? Just remove cache files: Tools / Internet Options / Temporary Intrnet Files / Delete Files... and try again!
Guest Tosh Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 Would it be possible in the next version to show dates on scale as well please? Tony
