Guest midnight Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Heres my first attempt at a skin guys, thanks must go to RichieM who did the xml code for the media player, and created the kick-ass installer. *New Version (1.2) that allows seperate installation of normal homescreen and extra screens available. When installing, if you want both the homescreen and the extras, when it has copied the files to the phone, wait until its installed before clicking 'ok' on the pc (when it says check device blah blah). This will allow seamless installation of both cab files. Note: if you want to install the extras screens, ensue that you have no windows media player skins installed other than the default MS one. It seems as though some (naughty) people have changed the name of their win media player skins which messes up the registry, causing our skin to stop win media player working. Guest Richie M Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 hhmm this definitley is a strange one Amo. I have had that in the past with other screens for no apparent reason :? Try selecting another homescreen, reboot and then select Reload again. Reload has been tested by myself and Midnight and the screen works perfectly :)

Guest Richie M Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 Amo, the images arent missing, the easiest way for you to solve this is to explore to IPSMApplication DataHomeReload and drag the files out of there into IPSMApplication DataHome The new version should of updated the XML file, but for some reason on yours it hasn't :? you were meant to ignore the "alerts" the installer threw up and carried on with the installation. NM just move the files as above and your version should work :)

Just wondering what "Reload" is? Oi, it werent a buggy exe :D just a mismatch between the XML and where files were being written. Er "Reload" was just a name we came up with :) Brody; wait till Sunday :lol: PS: the fixed exe is up now, and a slightly different version is on the way :lol: so you can install the "extra" screens seperately :(
