installing programs

It more than likley is a very easy thing to do, but as usual im finding it hard. I suppose the thing in my favour is that im not used to the phone. What i would like to know is how to install a program ( where does it go ) im able to install the skins, as in going to the Ipsm, and application, then home to install the skins, so where would i go to install programs, the obvious answer would be the program files!?. Any advice would be appreciated

If you are copying a .cap file or an .exe to your spv you can put it where you want to. the obvious place is the program files folder either on your phone or a storage card. then you need to run the .cab file to install it. this you must do via your phone. the easy way is using an explorer application like all explorer. you need to navigate to the where the .cab file is and then run it. if it is an .exe file you can do the same thing however you might like to place the .exe file in different folders depending on how you want to access it. for instance you could put it in your accessories folder and then you can access it through "programs -> accessories"

When you do install software you are normally given an

option of where you want to install to, either Storage Card or Phone.

The best place is to choose the Storage Card because if you install too much

on the phone it can start to run very slow.
