Decert Q: Problem:After Hard Reset no Active Sync connection

Hi,

i have an uk spv with the uk update on it...

did a hardreset and tried to decert it by hand and using this fine tool...

but the problem ist that after the hardreset my phone doesn't get recognized by AS.

it only get's connected again if i switch it off and on again...

that's not doing the trick for me.

i tried to connect it with the pc as soon as the blues smartphone screen comes up but nothing happens...

any tips for me?

I think that you have to wait a few seconds after the blue screen comes up.

You've done a hard reset. The phone is rebooting for the first time after the reset, and when you get to the blue screen, you place it in the cradle.

You wait, the phone finishes booting up, and ActiveSync never, ever sees it?

You reboot the phone and this time, active sync sees it?

Is that right?

yatpeak: yes i waited a few seconds before placing it into the cradle...

Syvwlch: yes, you're right... it boots up and no AS connection, after this i checked it without any luck, switched the phoen off and on and here we go, syncing fine...

thanks to msmobiles.com and the tool by Will it worked now first time...

now installing some really usefull tools...
