Guest badboy4life Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 I recently got my bill and i was on the FreeTime 750 tariff and i have been charged for calls made between 6 and 7 which according to the tariff are off peak! Just spoken to O Billing and they said i should know it was after 7 - end of matter. I was never informed it was after 7 and i even asked numerous times if there was anything extra i needed to know. O now say they can't find the person who put me on that tariff. Any advise on what i can do?
Guest cybercamel Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 I know it's of no help but their off-peak has always been after 7, which got me at first. I used to go by the BT times, so I also fell foul of not having off-peak on weekday bank holidays as well :)
Guest Bundi1 Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Unfortunately, it is after 7 !! This doesn't help a great deal because i would rather use mine mainly between 6 & 7 but they said their is no way they can change it. I would try and see if you can say what you've said and try and not pay for all of it because it's Orange's fault ! Worth a try !
Guest Yu_ Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 It is after 7 on Orange, but they can find the person who placed you on the OVP t/p easly, when they activat the T/P it leaves there login and time stamp for the change.
Guest badboy4life Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 They said they can't find him on the system anymore. I knew it was 7 on O but thought as its OVP they'd match the times too.
Guest Yu_ Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 They lied. The details for the operator are logged on you account in the history screen, they use a computer system called CCS to make the changes to your account, and the logins for the operator who made the change will be logged in there trust me. The OVP relates to price only, because you are on the Orange network all the relevant peak and off peak times should have been explained to you. In all honesty you probably aren’t going to get far with customer services, you could try writing in but I very much doubt that you will do much better that way. If you want the address PM me, because Customer services (or “help desk” as they like to call themselves) don’t generally like to give the address out.
Guest badboy4life Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Well i've spoken to a few people at O customer services including a supervisor not getting anywhere and i really can't be bothered with the hassle of writing in don't think it'll do any good. Thanx for your help guys anyway.
Guest one.ear Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 The reason you're not getting anywhere is that it states quite clearly what the Peak/Off Peak times are. See http://www.orange.co.uk/cgi-bin/ovp/tariff...20_Freetime_750 for details. Ben
Guest Yu_ Posted May 19, 2003 Report Posted May 19, 2003 Hey Ben didn't know you hung out here, good to see you around the place :) It's J btw PS that question you wanted me to look into well i did and it's still staff so I wouldn't worry about it to much :( LOL
