Dutch ROM update

I received a ROM update in a file named: OEM136_25_ORG_NL_0502.xdp

I need it tot use the softkeyboard which requires a ROM version 1.4.4 or higher to be used.

Does anyone know how I get this update done on my spv using the mentioned file?

The problem is that I already tried to use the UK ROM update but the installer reports that I am using a Dutch ROM version so the update can not be applied.

Ahhh, there's a workaround. Make sure it is ORG_NL , see here:

I placed the file I mentioned on my SPV and use a file explorer to activate it and now my update is running.........

Hopefully everything will be ok and I will soon have the 1.4.4 ROM.

The Dutch ROM I had was already 1.36 so upgrading to the UK version would be of no use.

1.4.4?!? That's good!! Let us know what it's like when you get it working. Most here are still on 1.3.x

I got it working and it seems that the SPV is a little faster in navigating the menu's.

The unlocking proces has been undone so you have to re-apply on their site which doesn't work flawless for Dutch users.

So before I can use my apps again (like the file explorer which I need to install the keyboard drivers) I have to keep trying to unlock it (stupid policy from Orange which isn't user friendly).

I always fly thru the unlock process. You just need to find the right format for your phonenumber =)!

Should it be +(what's holland31??)phonenummer

or just 31phonenumber

Etc etc! Once you have found the right format, make a mental number, then you will fly thru the process next time.
