xRick new GAME port ***new version with sound from Stuff ***

Was bored yesterday night, so I did a quick and dirty

port of the great xRick (from www.bigorno.net).

Keys are pad + 1 for action, 2 for pause, * to exit

Have fun :)

ps : there's no sound support, if somebody would like to

add it, he is welcome :wink:

It is hard to jump & move left/righ same time. How about using key 1 for jumps.

looks great, but I get stuck directly after half a minute,

because those enemies run to quickly for me to climb

down the ladder...

I tried a cheat I found for the normal version, but it didn't

work...

Also the controls are kind of fiddly! Would additional

mapping of the number keys (like in snake) be possible?

I've worked out how to shoot now - you need to hold down the action (1) button, and then press up. To drop a dynamite hold down the action button and press down. You'll find it a lot easier to do when you can actually kill stuff!

It gives an "application error" when any kind of phone alert pops up or when you pause it and the homescreen comes back.

It worked for me - the xrick.exe in a folder, and all the sounds in a subfolder called (and you'll never guess this) "sounds" ! - create a shortcut, move it to the start menu and you're away!
