Orange SPV and BTinternet

Just bought an SPV and trying to connect to Internet (not using GPRS).

I use BT surf on desktop - do I use the same phone no. & account details on the phone too - doesn't seem to work.

If I use Pay as you Go phone no, it does seem to connect me but doesn't recognise the account - presumably because my account is a Surf package.

How do I fix it - before I fling this thing out of the window!!!!!!!!!!!!

This only works on Win 2K or XP

So if you have 98 or ME it may be time to upgrade :)
