How are those paint jobs lasting?

I was wondering if anyone who has painted their device would like to give us an update on how well the paint job is lasting.

I know some of the pictures looked great, and I've been thinking of doing it myself -- but it'd be nice to know how well the paint would stand up to daily use. I know the type of paint has an effect on how long it lasts, so if you want to just mention what type of paint you used that'd be cool too.

i painted mine using revall enamel paint then coating it in clear paint - look good for bout a week but having it rub around in my pocket it soon looked tatty so i scratched of all the paint using my fingernails back to the original colour - i didnt prepare the base b4 painting it so the paint came of quite well

my paint job is still good. i droped on friday night n it took a little bit of pain off. but apart from that it still looks good.

No Problems with mine yet,, but i still have some spray left - just in case...lol

Mine didn't last too well, actually, the paint had worn off in most of the corners/edges. I used a metallic Enamel from Halfords. I re-did mine the other day any put a spray-on polyurethane varnish on top. It's rock-solid now, and will hopefully last a bit longer.

A piece of advice if anyone re-sprays their phone - make sure you remove the old paint first - it produces a much better finish. I soaked mine in white spirit, then rubbed the old off with a cloth.

ETA: The first bit to scratch was around the direction pad - mainly from playing Motocross :?.

well mine has now got big chunks of paint off it.. (after it ke[t falling out my pocket) and i have lost the infered cover thing.. :cry: :?
