Deleting SMSs

Is there an easy way of deleting the sent items and the inbox of SMSs without having to delete one by one??

Also how do I sync my phone to Outlook to amend my contacts. When I connect my phone up it says it cannot link with Outlook 2002.

Outlook...not sure, try recreating the partenership? I once got AS 3.5 to sync a Motorola Timeport with my OL2002, took me all day, so if that's possible SmartPhone must be ;p
