Can someone give me step by step info on how to convert an MPEG1 film on my HDD to play on my SPV in full screen (if possible to do)

Do I need to convert it and if so, how?

Try a forum search for PocketTV or PocketMVP to play the files. Then see Clinteastman's settings for virtualdub to encode them for SmartPhone screen resolution.

You'll need a decertified phone to use the apps.
