Does anyone know a good site to get some Mpeg's. I got PocketTV last night and i want to test the limitations of this baby :!:

If you take a look at their site they have some mpeg samples. Clinteastman has also encoded some upcoming film trailers to play on it.

Also you can easiely convert any video in MPEG with parameters suitable for the Smartphone.

You can use TMPGEnc, a free MPEG converter available from http://www.tmpgenc.net , but any other MPEG encoder will do.

Use the encoding parameters guidelines indicated on http://forum.pocketmovies.net/viewtopic.ph...php?p=3368#3368

After you start TMPGEnc, you must click Cancel to exit the wizard, then you can set all the encoding parameters.

PocketTV is only limited by the size of the screen and the power of the CPU in your phone.

With the current generation of Smartphones (e.g. SPV) If you encode video with appropriate parameters (the most important being the video size and the audio and video bitrates), then you will have video playing at 24 fps in 176x136 (portrait) and at about 17 fps in 224x176 (fullscreen).

That all sounds good, Thanks...

I did download the Reloaded trailer and put it on my (only 8mb) Sd, it was sooo small. :roll:

Im off to see the advance preview tomorrow so that will make up for it :wink:
