hi! i bought my 128 mmc card (pqi ang brand) sa shop beside watson sa quiapo. it has a 1 yr warranty. may sandisk din that sells for 2,500. it has 5 yrs warranty.

Tip lang if your gonna buy: test nyo muna sa fone before going kc yung nabili ko na sandisk ayaw mag format, di sya marecognize...good thing natry ko while i was in the shop. so, i settled for pqi. nakasave pa ko ng 500. i have asked nga pala the difference between sd and mmc, and ang difference lang eh nalolock ang sd.

ok naman ang mmc, it plays my games and mp3s fine.

and the SD is physically thicker so as to prevent dust particle going into the SAP.

SD has read-only data protection just like a diskette's, yung MMC wala. SD is faster than MMC. MMC is thinner than SD. I'd recommend SD so that you can protect your data and just like grifter said, di papasukin ng dust yung SAP mo.

i use mmc and what i do is i put a nicely cut transparent tape over the slot after it is inserted.

but what happens if you take out the mmc? you'll have to re-tape it again. hehe
