amazingly my spv did the hard reset automatically.i was listening to a few songs wen all of a sudden it switched off and wen i rebooted the fone it had hard reseted, now my phone is no de-certified but it is still unblocked.

any of you guys had the same problem?

Yeap have had that experience once and ive read others having the same problem. Donno what the exact reason is though. I dont mind de-certing again but all that software that has to be reinstalled!!

Anyways good luck with the de-cert now!

I presume you mean that your phone is is now certified again but the any

sim unblock is still ok.

The answer is yes this has happened to a few members, the reason for this is that for somehow your phone's registery has become corrupt,

dodgy xml has ben claimed to cause this on occasions.

Because of this the phone has a self repair ability so all that has happened is that the phone has repaied it's self. The downside is that

you now have to run the decert process again :)

and does this coincide with the mxip_oem_10.provxml being self-modified after decert? as appears to revert back to the unmodified version right after decert and phone is decert.

That file is in the main Windows folder, this folder is re-written

every time the phone goes through a power cycle.

The mxip file only gets read when the phone is being hard reset

or in our case de-certed as this is the same process initialy.
