Guest StoutMan Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 I just bought the soft keyboard this weekend from bluewater shopping centre near London, wow is it so nice to type e-mail's and notes using this thing. I had to do a hard reset to get it working though but it's worth it. I thought the price of £50 was a tad expensive until I started to look at the price of foldable keyboards for ipaq's......£100 christ now thats what I call expensive. One word of advice...don't let them show you how it works because after that you are hooked and you must buy one because they look so cool 8)
Guest urdone311 Posted May 21, 2003 Report Posted May 21, 2003 My SPV should be here from the UK in a couple days...I was wondering if i should get the soft keyboard or see if i can fnd a plastic keyboard for it. The fabric keyboard sounds nice, but i was reading posts earlier on about how you probably dont get the "clicking sensation" you get from a normal keyboard....which i seem to enjoy for some reason. My question is, how much different is it? Is it annoying at first? What if you were to rest it on your lap, would it be possible to type that way? (say if your on a bus or a train). Thanks! -Joe
