Guest bensy Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 do a hard reset. All programs and data will be erased and will be replaced by the initial program (from ROM). I haven't tried it but a moderator told me so. the procedure for a hard reset is somewhere in the forum, do a search.
Guest Superman Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 yup did the hard reset already but its still an open line, I cud stl use other network sim
Guest dinoalbert Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 Has anyone really tried doing the Hard Reset? I did follow the instruction but I just cant get through....I could get to the Canary rainbow (?) screen but when it says click any button, I click and hold the Action button but nothing happens...holding the Action button even for about 5 long minutes until my hands I finally got tired. So then I just restarted the phone from there and still my phone wasnt hard resetted. Anyone successful with the hard reset? For the instructions on how to, click here ---> Hard Reset
Guest ppcsurfr Posted May 20, 2003 Report Posted May 20, 2003 @dinoalbert: 5minutes??? Just remember to remove the SD card or SD dummy card when you do it... All it takes is to press the reord button while you restart the phone... and before you get to the rainbow... make sure you are already pressing the action button...
