X Men 2

hey ive just bought a DVD with 4 VCDs on it, X Men 2 (v. good copy) Identity, Old school, and Daredevil... all excellent copies. I wanted to convert X Men 2 to AVI. This is what i normally do to achieve this:

1. Copy the video file onto my HD

2. Use VisualDub to convert the MPEG (if that) to AVI (using ClintMans settings)

3. Download it to my SPV

But with XMEN 2, i checked the file type and its a .VOB File. I cant seem to use that in VisualDub or Windows media Encoder 7 as its not recognised with them. And it seems all these movies are .VOB so i cant convert any of them. Can anyone help? Anyone familiar with .VOB, any suggestions whatsoever would be much appreciated.
