Messages won't delete from SPV

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I'm going out of my mind here!

I have an unsent message in the deleted folder which refuses to be permantly deleted. I've tried going into ActivSync but can't even find where the messages are.

Also in the sent floder (which is empty) the message count says -1, why is this, how can I have minus 1 messages!

Tried doing a hard reset but even that doesn't work just goes into canary screen and stays there.

Any advice would be much welcome.
