Broken screen, and need to access my unread SMS ! HOW?

I got a real problem with my SPV..... the screen has cracked and dusnt

display anything. However the phone still works fine, is there anyway

through connecting the phone to my PC... that I can access my unread SMS

(cos I know there are some on there unread). And also access my call

history information... its bugging me so much. i need to check my texts, but

they are stored not on the sim but on the internal memory of the phone. So

I would like to read my texts b4 getting the phone replaced.

Please write back with advice.

PS: I know about the app which can remotely view the spv screen on the pc... But I cant install it cos i need to see the spv screen to do so. :x

go to IPSM/MAPI and copy all the XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.mpb files to your computer, then rename all the files to be XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.txt and you will be able to read them in notepad!! :) good luck!

P.S. Use Active Sync to connect to your PC then Explore the phone.....

well i checked all those files already.... and they are only the texts which I have written on the phone... not the ones I have recieved.... its my recieved txts I wana read... i need to access:

my call history (if pos)

and RECIEVED txts.

god damn this is a nightmare problem ! arrgh.

any ideas ?

ok, try this.

you will have to do this blind. go to your home screen then select programs, then inbox then select menu them go down six times and select options. them go down six times and select import from sim. now try and read them.

or try reading each message in your inbox then look for the files in active sync
