Send/Receive Email problem

I have been using my SPV for many months to check my emails.

I have a POP3 connection and this gets the messsages, until I connect from my PC at which time they are downloaded into outlook and removed from the server.

All was fine. Then last week something very strange started happening:

When using the Send/Receive Email option from the SPV, any emails that were already on the SPV were got again as a new message. Once all the messages had finished, the SPV then realised that these messages were the same and removed the duplicates.

As it was getting the messages again, if I had marked a message for Download, it was then not downloading it, but getting just the first 1000 bytes of the message again.

This is really annoying as I used to Sync every 1/2 hour and as I usually get ~10 emails a day, cannot now know when it dials up whether it really has got new mail, or just the earlier messages again.

I called O but the CS bloke offered no help whatsoever.

Any ideas?
