Guest pop_pixie Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Is there an easy way to delete outgoing text messages rather than going through them one by one, selecting menu, selecting delete rah rah rah? Or even better, is there an option not to save them at all?
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 There's no option to not save them at all. To delete them en mass with one click, I recommend SMS Tools. The latest version also has support for re-sending failed messages, and is available exclusively via MoDaCo Plus! P

Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Yep, misread the question sorry...
Guest Simon Desser Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 am i being daft  or is the option for not saving outgoing messages in the options menu : sending : untick "save copies of sent items" ??? No, this only seems to apply to emails. SMS's seem to be saved in Sent Items whether the box is ticked or not.
Guest FragMeister Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 With all of the menus on the SPV, rather than pressing the softkey to bring up the menu, and then using the up and down to select the appropriate menu, and then pressing action, you can instead: press the softkey to bring up the menu, and then press the required number key that represents the menu item you are after. for example, to delete all the messages in your Sent Items folder: press menu [right softkey] press 4 on numberpad You can therefore quickly delete them all by doing: menu 4 menu 4 menu 4 menu 4 etc. like daley thompson! This way of accessing the menus by pressing the corresponding number key is not limited to here, but can be used on any menu.
Guest gold_24k Posted June 12, 2003 Report Posted June 12, 2003 pretty useful. never thought of that. I guess it better than paying for software. Thanks
Guest strathclydezero Posted June 12, 2003 Report Posted June 12, 2003 You obviously disagree Paul
