Hi,

I have just got myself a SPV its fully unlocked and my O2 sim works fine in the phone EXCEPT for the MMS, WAP, INTERNET, GPRS. I know my GPRS is activated as I have been using it for over 4 months on other handsets. Also on the SPV the "G" comes up in the middle top of the screen.

I am using pay as you go sim which gives me free messages and free WAP, GPRS but I can seem to connect all I keep getting is "Unable to place call"??????

Can some one please help me?

OK, these are the settings that I have used for O2 PAYG.

Create proxy

Description : O2 WAP proxy

The Internet, WAP Network, 193.113.200.195, WAP

(If you have another proxy setup with 'connects to WAP network' then change or delete it)

Create GPRS connection

Description: O2 WAP

The Internet, payandgo.o2.co.uk, payandgo, password

Create Dial Up connection

Description: O2 CSD

The Internet, 44, 7712, 927927, o2wap, password

In data connection make

Internet connection=O2 CSD (uses HTTP for HTML & WML pages)

WAP connection = O2 WAP or O2 CSD (uses WSP for WML pages)

In Internet explorer, tick 'Automatically detect settings'.

Try to access wsp://wap.o2.co.uk :)
