Guest kpc Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Depends if you regard a Citroen Picasso as a people carrier. :)
Guest Gorskar Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Don't get me started on people carriers - if theres one type of car that I could have entirely crushed it would be them Why can't people who buy them just admit they need a van instead of trying to drive something that looks like some kind of topheavy overloaded egg on wheels.

Yes I need a van but as I have a family I need a family car as well, and I cannot afford to have both or the parking space.
Guest Gorskar Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 I'm not saying they're not useful, just that I dislike the look of them.

Guest kpc Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Unless you let your wife loose in the shops when you will need truck.... :)
Guest Chris b.a.r.f. Posted March 23, 2003 Report Posted March 23, 2003 Not sure about MPV's - I had a test-drive in a Sharan VR6 the other day, it's a cracking motor and pretty quick, too. I need the space (3 young kids and associated "baggage" - their acoutrements, that is, not their mum  ) and you can get screens in the back of the front headrests so a playstation can be plugged-in. Ace for those long drives to see the fam. in the UK. It's not a bad looker, the best of a dodgy bunch. Let's face it, my choice is limited to a Sharan/Galaxy/Alhambra, Zafira (too small) or a bloody VW Transporter (no thanks :) ). Ugly, generic Jap MPVs don't come into the picture. Wouldn't have one if you paid me. My 2 pence.
