Having shortcuts on your homecreen

Hi,

Many people have been asking about whether you can have permanent shortchuts on your homescreen, as opposed to the most recently used programs, and I think I might have found a way to do it.

I noticed in the Orange Simple homescreen that the icons are permanent, and not most recently used, and I found this text in the .home.xml file:

, or something like that, you could have links that never change.

I don't see how this can be news, and been explained+discussed first in Tips&Tricks by Chris B. and then by many others. By the way, it is going to Customisation

Sorry, hadn't seen it before, but I thought that I had seen many people asking about them and being told that it wasn't possible, must have been mistaken.
