Guest grigsby1 Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 Had my SPV for about 2 weeks, and I absolutely love this phone, no major problems, or freezes, it works great, I have installed all the released programs, except my tools (want install) and they work fine. The only problem is that I can not get on the t-mobile GPRS network, I have tried a lot of different settings and they did not work. Can any one help? TIA.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 Have you spoken to T-Mobile? What Access Point Name (APN) have they given you? P
Guest grigsby1 Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 this is the info they gave me. Primary IP address: 216.155.165.050 Secondary IP address: Blank APN Name: wap.voicestream.com Data Bearer: GPRS Profile Name: GPRS Username: Blank Bearer: Data Home page: http://wap.myvoicestream.com
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 That's fine for WAP, here's the settings you need for normal net access! DUN over GPRS APN: internet2.voicestream.com ID: PW: Password Request: Off Allow Calls Automatic IP Address: DNS Address: Enjoy! P
Guest grigsby1 Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 did not work, did not have any setting for password off, or automatic calls, it gets the connection, but never logs on to any sites.
Guest harshaw Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 I use internet3.voicestream.com for T-mobile GPRS in the US. This APN will also work under One2One (T-mobile in the UK) if you are roaming internationally.
