Guest simon11 Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 I have downloaded the trial version of the Handango GPRS counter. When I install it to the phone which is automatic. It dose not appear anywhere on my phone. My phone is not unlocked but this software is supposed to be registerd. What am I doing wrong?
Guest yatpeak Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Is it in program files, when you explore your SPV through ActiveSync? Wyatt
Guest simon11 Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 No! The programs folder is empty. So is my active synch folder If I look at add remove programs though in active synch it is listed??
Guest simon11 Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 I have now tried to load three handango programs. All are taking up storage space but do not show in any folders. I have used add remove programs to remove them. The programme names disappeared from the menu. But they are still taking up my storage. Any ideas please. Perhaps a hard reset is the only answer???
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Do you have all-explorer or smart explorer ( if you're phone's decerted) if you do go to IPSMWindowsAppMgrInstall and remove anything you find there. You have to use the apps listed above as Activsync cannot see these folders.

I found that I could install the Handango GPRS counter from here which is supposed to be certified. But I get unable to run the progam not digitaly assigned??? Suppose I will have to unlock my phone! Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Strange as GPRS counter was available way before decertification was ever a reality :? also I just wondered if the demo you have may have expired? this was a problem with all-explorer demo on the sd card a while back.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Here's a link to All-locations it's probably better if you email them and ask about the demo.
Guest simon11 Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Thanks for all your help. I now have it up and running. Great!! :) ;) :D
