Guest CPOX Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Well, new here and dont realy know if this is a bug or not, but here I am. Done the reset thing, together with the process kill, get the code from the software, but then having placed a dofferent network SIM, It wouldn't take the given code as correct. What does this means?. Yes, doble check the code was right, and re-did it several times. puzzel!. thanks
Guest Hax Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Not really sure that this post should be here - surely this forum is for logging bugs with the SPV/Tanager itself, not a bit of "unofficial" and "unsupported" by Orange software that will doubtlessly irritate them because of the possibility of lost revenue! As far as I can remember, most people have not had this problem that you're reporting. Forgive me for asking the obvious:- you are entering the code at the right time - i.e., *not* at the password (SIM1) code prompt but at the sim unlock screen, aren't you? You may be better off posting in the "Software" or "Help and Advice" forum to see if anyone else has had this problem - of course, only after you've done a search on all forums for similar threads :) HTH Hax
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Moved to H&A. As Hax pointed out it does sound as if you are putting the unlock code into the SIM's PIN1 screen. Either turn off the pin1 in another phone or put in the correct code when it asks, i believe it asks for the Pin1 code before the unlock code.
