Guest mmace Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 hi there, sorry if this has been said before, but I am new to the SPV. I am using it with an O2 SIM. There is something wierd happening when I text: Whenever I text my fiancée the '@' sign appears quite often in the text's she receives, it usually starts with one, and it's there after most full stops, some comma's and occasionally just in the middle of a sentance. I am not sure if it does this on anyone elses phone as she is the only person I text, she has a T68i if that helps. When I check my sent items, they are fine, there are no '@' signs at all. any help would be greatly appreciated
Guest Lojt Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 I think the spv is gonna put a @ before the text to indicate if the message is longer than one sms.
Guest mmace Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 i c, that will explain it, thanks a lot
Guest yatpeak Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Do you mean when it goes over 160 characters? Thanks, Wyatt
Guest MECX Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 yeh when it goes over 160ch ----its like a code some phones are able to put the messages together to make the larger message. my sony J5 used to loose the second part of the message all the time was the bain of my life.
